Assassin’s Creed Infinity was mentioned by Ubisoft during the 15th anniversary celebration event, confirming the fact that it is some sort of hubs intended for bring together all the chapters of the seriesalthough it is not yet entirely clear what it is.
During the presentation, Marc-Alexis Cote, executive producer Ubisoft Quebec, also spoke of Assassin’s Creed Infinity, confirming that it is a sort of hub that has the intention of bringing together all the chapters of the long series in some way.
The idea is that it is one community platformas also reported by the developers.
“Infinity is not a game per se,” explained the producer, “it will be a single entry point for our fans into the Assassin’s Creed franchise in the future.” The idea is a bit to replicate theAnimusor a sort of “time machine” capable of quickly transferring us from one era to another, from one chapter to another of Assassin’s Creed.
“Infinity will be a hub that will bring all the different experiences and our players together in meaningful ways,” said developer Ubisoft. It is not yet clear how this connection between the players in the community works, but Ubisoft has specifically referred to the possible possibility of introducing multiplayer modes within Assassin’s Creed Infinity.
Infinity will therefore not be a new chapter in the series, but a sort of platform that aims to contain the various experiences and connect the players of the community, as emerged when we spoke of the live service platform of the series. At the same event, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Assassin’s Creed: Codename Jade, Assassin’s Creed: Codename Red and Assassin’s Creed: Codename Hexe were also presented.
