Assassin’s Creed Mirage it will not have sections in the modern times. This was confirmed by Sarah Beaulieu, the narrative director of the game, speaking of her return to the origins of the game, that is, her desire to resume the formula of the original Assassin’s Creed.
Sections in modern times have been around since the first Assassin’s Creed and theAnimus there will be, but only at the beginning of the game, as explained by Beaulieu: “So I can tell you that even if there will be an Animus access at the beginning of Mirage, there will be nothing in the present.”
Technically this absence is justified by the ending of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and by Basim’s story in the same, but the reference to the Animus still opens up various possibilities, which we will see how they will be managed.
On the other hand Assassin’s Creed Mirage appears more and more like an interlocutory chapter, whose characteristics have been trimmed to create an experience as faithful as possible to the original titles, waiting for a return to the role-playing game that will take place with Assassin’s Creed: Codename Red.
Before leaving you, we remind you that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be launched in 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One and Amazon Luna.
