As we know, Netflix and Ubisoft are collaborating on the creation of one series TV dedicated to the saga of Assassin’s Creed. However, during the Ubisoft Forward, the French company shared some new details.

It has been said that the Netflix show dedicated to Assassin’s Creed is still in the early stages of developmentbut Ubisoft can confirm that the Ubisoft Film and Television teams and, of course, Netflix are behind the work.

Furthermore, the two study are aided by Jeb Stuart, who plays the role of show runner. Stuart is known as writer, executive producer and showrunner of Vikings: Valhalla, but also of many famous films such as Blood Done Sign My Name, Die Hard, The Fugitive and more.

Ubisoft defines the Assassin’s Creed TV series as “epic and multi-genre“. It will be a “live-action adaptation of the video game series”. Unfortunately we are not told exactly in which historical period of the saga this TV series will be set: the adventures of the Assassins range from ancient Greece to the industrial revolution and beyond, with also some hints of the World Wars as players of Syndicate will remember.

Let’s not forget that the Assassin’s Creed saga is based on the present, with Abstergo trying to obtain the secrets of the Assassins with its own technology. The possibilities are therefore many.
