Larian Studios has planned to leave theearly access Of Baldur’s Gate 3 In the 2023at least according to what was declared by Swen Vincke, the founder of the studio: “We believe we still have a year of development ahead of us, so it’s likely not this year. Fortunately we are coming to the end, so we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. We have a really solid program.“
Patch 7, released yesterday, which added the barbarian class among other things, will be followed by others before the launch of version 1.0. “Our internal goal for the launch is quality and not a precise date. We’ve made a lot of progress in this direction over the past year in Early Access, but we know many are waiting for the release date. We will give it when we are close to achieving our goals, but we currently expect Baldur’s Gate 3 to come out of Early Access in 2023.“
Baldur’s Gate 3 is available in Early Access for PC on Steam and Stadia. The first version dates back to October 2020. The story takes place 120 years after the events of the first two Baldur’s Gate.
