According to some reports, call of Duty will take a little break in the 2023that is, it will not publish a new premium game but will instead focus on distributing additional content for currently available games. Well, activision has reconfirmed that this will not be the case: a new complete video game will arrive this fall.
The information comes from Activison financial reports recently shared. The company writes, “Across the Call of Duty franchise, our teams are working to amplify Q4 success, with plans for 2023 that include even more immersive live services across all platforms and the next full annual premium release.” of this hit series.”
The terminology”next full year premium release” is usually used to refer to new AAA games unrelated to previous games in a saga. Of course, there is always the possibility that Activision is using the term very broadly and actually intends to release a big DLC for Modern Warfare 2 , but it doesn’t seem the most credible solution.
For now we can only wait for: several months will have to pass before a complete announcement, so it is useless to speculate too much about it.
Speaking of the present, did you know that Infected mode could return with Season 2 of Modern Warfare 2?
