CrossfireX was the protagonist of a debut to say the least problematic, disappointing the vast majority of users between more or less serious problems and bringing home votes very low by the international press.

CrossfireX executive producer has written an apology letter to fans, but at this point it’s unlikely that the situation can be recovered lightly. Moreover, subscribers to Xbox Game Pass they still can’t download the single player module due to a bug that nobody seems to have an interest in solving.
A frankly unexpected situation, if we consider that the Crossfire franchise has enjoyed great popularity on PC for several years and that the single player sector was developed for the occasion by Remedy Entertainment.
Precisely this last aspect, organized in episodes, has been criticized for being too short, while in general the experience is accused of being really too general and full of problems that at the moment make it difficult to play.
