Demon Slayer: Season 3 officially confirmed by Ufotable

With the airing of the last episode of the second season, which concluded the narrative arc of the entertainment district, Ufotable has officially announced there third season of the anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaibawhich will cover the narrative arc of the village of blacksmiths.

The announcement was accompanied by the publication of an image, which shows two of the key characters of the series, and a teaser trailer, visible only in Japan.

The two characters shown are of the Pillars (the most powerful demon hunters), Mitsuri And Muichiro, who will evidently interact with Tanjiro Kamado and his companions during the episodes of the season. The teaser trailer consists of the same two images, but with background music. For those unfamiliar with them, Mitsuri is the pillar of love, while Muichiro is the pillar of fog.

For now, there is no other information on Demon Slayer Season 3, which does not have one yet exit window confirmed. However, considering the two-year gap between season 1 and season 2, with Mugen Train film in the middle, we believe we can confidently say that we won’t see it before 2023 (happy to be proven wrong, in this case).

The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series can be streamed on services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Crunchyroll.
