From today, August 25, 2022, it is available eFootball 2023 on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, kicking off the Season 1 of the new version. In fact, Konami’s free-to-play football game has been updated with a substantial update, which has introduced various innovations, including the official licenses of Milan and Internew cards and more.
Waiting to read the complete official update notes that will be published today, let’s take an overview of what’s new in eFootball 2023. First of all, two new football stars have become Global Ambassador of the Konami title: Trent Alexander-Arnold and Bruno Fernandes.
Also many have been added new licenses. Among these we find those of the Italian clubs Milan and Inter, in addition to the Mexican team Club América and the Liga BBVA MX.
Two new types have also been introduced Player cards. “Featured” players are carefully selected players who have put in outstanding performances in the “current season”, outperforming the “Featured” players. “Epic” cards are special versions of great players from the past who celebrate their “decisive season” with a higher progression threshold than Legendary players.
They have also been added new packages. Le Milan, Inter and Club América are included in specific Club Packs, complete with 11 Player Cards with exclusive designs. Players in these packs are also “Featured” players. Trent Alexander-Arnold has his own “Premium Ambassador Pack”, in an “Epic” version to celebrate his 2019-20 season. Bruno Fernandes will also have a dedicated package in the autumn. Still on the subject of packages, the “Manager pack” was also introduced which includes a set of Training Programs plus a coach, including Fabio Cannavaro and Johan Cruijff.
