FromSoftware and Bandai Namco communicate a Maintenance on Elden Ring server scheduled for today, February 26, 2022during the morning, with possible interruptions of the service due to work in progress.
As reported in the warning message, maintenance work on the Elden Ring begins at 9:00 am this morning and will last for about 2 hours, so they should be completely concluded at 11:00, again as regards the Italian time. There are still no precise details on the extent of these works, but it is clear that the developers will have to work a little, in this first period, to correct the numerous technical imperfections detected.
“Thanks in advance for your understanding,” the message relates. The warning appears to concern only the servers of the PC versionhowever, there are some reports on the impossibility of logging in even on the Xbox, so it is not clear whether the intervention is at least also extended to the Microsoft console.
In any case, FromSoftware will certainly have some work to do in this period: the various inconsistencies in terms of stability and frame-rate of the PC version have led to cold reviews from users, at least compared to those seen by the press, as well as the our Elden Ring review.
Meanwhile, Bandai Namco has reassured users by announcing that patches are on the way, intended to fix various aspects of the game.
