Currently version Xbox Of Elden Ring has major problems with features online of the game, which are for the most part unusable. The error should be in the game version mismatch on Xbox Live, which prevents co-op, messaging and PvP from working. Bandai Namco has not yet recognized the problem, even if we imagine they are aware of the situation.
Users with Calibrations version 1.0.2.1 should be able to access online without problems, but it seems that the update is late in arriving at all. Unfortunately, it cannot be forced in any way, so it is impossible to access the online features of the game.
If you are one of those who want to play Elden Ring online on Xbox, maybe right in cooperative with another human being, you just have to wait. The hope is that the situation will be resolved as soon as possible and that it will not happen again in the future. Otherwise you can try the in-game Spirit Ash system, which allows you to summon an AI-driven companion. It’s not the same, but it does at least ease some boss fights.
