During the Tokyo Game Show 2022, the Jyamma Games team released the first one gameplay trailers of the promising Italian souls-like Project Galileo, also revealing the official name of the project: Enotria: The Last Song.

As we can see in the first official gameplay sequences, Enotria: The Last Song looks like a rather immediate souls-like action with settings, atmospheres and music that are very reminiscent of Italian folklore and culture. In this sense, the developers prefer to call it a “Summer-Soul”, i.e. a game that combines the beauty of an Italian summer with the darkness inherent in the sub-genre born thanks to FromSoftware games.

The movie also allows us to get an idea of the dynamics of the fights, with the protagonist who, as per the tradition of the genre, will be able to wield various instruments of death and use special skills.

Jyamma Games also unveiled a few details on the plot and the setting of Enotria: The Last Song.

Enotria is set on a continent of the same name, a world where many cultures and countries have thrived in different ways – until all fell into ruin. The curse of the “canvas” has taken hold in the lands and has deprived them of their inhabitants and of all the roles they had, to make them part of the “show”, and this means that the world has become nothing more than “empty shell”“.

Your mission will be to try to return the world to its former glory, there will be many enemies and many willing to help them, those who created the canvas in the first lands and those who are enslaved to them, will represent obstacles in your path. Will it be possible to bring Enotria back to its former glory? Will the world be able to go back to the way it was before?

Enotria: The Last Song is currently in development for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. It does not currently have an official release date yet.
