Despite receiving a lukewarm reception around the world, it seems that Forspoken liked by the Japanese editorial team of Famitsuwith the new issue of the historic magazine which has assigned a particularly high rating to the Square Enix game.
So let’s see the votes assigned in the new issue of Famitsu based on the reviews present:
- DRAINUS (Switch) – 8/8/8/8 [32/40]
- Forspoken (PS5) – 9/9/8/9 [35/40]
- One Piece Odyssey (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series) – 7/7/9/8 [31/40]
Forspoken therefore obtained a resounding 35/40, not far from the perfect score, even. This is a decidedly different evaluation from the one received in principle in the rest of the world, with the game which is found with a 66 Metascore on Metacritic and even a 3.5 as an average user vote.
Evidently, the new fantastic epic of Luminous Productions and Square Enix is still very much liked by the editorial staff of Famitsu, which in itself has already shown in the past that it appreciates Square Enix products somewhat. In any case, it’s also indicative of how the Japanese audience probably perceives the games, so Forspoken is very likely to do well in the market as well. Japanwaiting to see the results in terms of sales.
On this occasion, we refer you to our review of Forspoken, where the game was still rated quite positively.
