FIFA 23 will arrive towards the end of 2022 e it will not change its name as some rumors seemed to suggest, while other changes are expected such as the introduction of the cross-play, two World Cups and various technical evolutions.

FIFA 23 should therefore keep the classic denomination at least not as regards this chapter, even if the change for the following ones is not excluded. As we have seen, EA has begun to introduce the idea of ​​a branding change that could abandon the FIFA license in the near future, but it seems that the question does not concern the chapter scheduled for 2022 for now.

For the first time in the series, FIFA 23 should include cross-play, i.e. the possibility of playing in multiplayer between different platforms as PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, at least as reported by Tom Henderson based on some information received from a source close to the project, not better identified.

Within FIFA 23 there will also be the Both men’s and women’s world championshipstherefore in fact two competitions for the World Cup, with all the official licenses relating to the competitions in question.

Among other innovations there are also improvements to the technology behind the game such as theHypermotion, which should be more advanced in FIFA 23 thanks to a greater amount of data that can be collected and managed in the development of the game. Meanwhile, FIFA 22 is the best-selling game of 2021.
