At the Future Games Show of the Gamescom 2022 of August 25, 2022 was shown God of Rock for PC, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and PS5. It will be available in late 2022. You can watch the trailer above.
There official description reads: “The mysterious god of rock has brought back the souls of the universe’s greatest musicians and musicians for an epic showdown. Armed with their new bodies and powers, each artist must take part in this challenge, battling for musical supremacy on a global stage.”
“God of Rock blends rhythm-based gameplay with fighting game mechanics in tense 1-on-1 battles. Choose from over ten unique characters, each with their own design, mechanics, and harmonic attacks. Weaken your opponent by performing normal moves and accumulate the meter by pressing notes to the rhythm of the song, then consume it to unleash EX Moves and special moves, dealing damage and complicating opponent songs. Finally, use a devastating Super attack to end the fight! , the song will become more and more complex to perform, until only one of the two challengers is left standing!”
