God of War: Ragnarok postponed? The release remains set for 2022 for Jason Schreier

God of War: Ragnarok was postponed? In the last hours some doubts have spread about the possibility that the game will be published this year, but the journalist Jason Schreier has denied them: to say of him theexit remains fixed at 2022.

You will remember that there was originally talk of a launch in 2021 for God of War: Ragnarok, then officially postponed to 2022 but for very specific reasons, namely the health conditions of the voice actor of Kratos, Christopher Judge.

It was therefore not a question of a delay linked to problems with development, ergo a good part of the extra time that Santa Monica Studio had available was probably dedicated to the motion capture of the cutscenes and the extensive finishing work.

There isn’t one yet date precise release, but God of War: Ragnarok will make its debut on PS5 and PS4 later this year, in short. We imagine that the designated period will be autumn, but anything can happen.

In the meantime, perhaps, go and take a look at our in-depth study dedicated to Ragnarok, the twilight of the gods in Norse mythology.
