As we have seen, God of War Ragnarok will be the cover game of the new issue of Game Informer, which represents a sort of tradition for high-profile titles and for which we can expect news and materials on the wait PS5 and PS4 exclusivestarting with the videos and pictures visible on this page.
The reveal trailer announcing God of War Ragnarok as Game Informer’s cover game doesn’t feature a lot of new material, but there’s still some unedited fragments within the montage. A large part of the scenes displayed are taken from the official trailers previously released by Sony, but some additional things are still visible.
In particular, from minute 0:52 a short fragment of a sequence aboard a canoe is visible which shows a new setting inside a cave, which also gives a certain idea of the graphic quality characteristic of the game, given the effects of light and refraction definitely notable, demonstrating the evolutions applied in this new chapter.
Further news can be seen in the images that are circulating on the net in these hours, always taken from the Game Informer magazine. In the tweet above, for example, we can see some screenshots used to illustrate some new features planned for the combat system of God of War: Ragnarok, some of which are described in the new in-depth article on the game.
For the rest, we recently saw the Myths of Midgard trailer which tells the story of Kratos and Atreus.
