With an article published on the official website of the GT series, Polyphony Digital has announced the possibility of import Gran Turismo Sport data in Gran Turismo 7 and so transfer part of the statistics and data accumulated in the previous game of the series.
As we learn from the article, the transfer of the data saved on the servers will begin on February 15 and will concern the driver classification, sportsmanship classification, liveries (for cars, helmets and suits) and decals. The data relating to the Scapes mode, photos in the race and replay will not be imported.
Regarding the driver and sport classification, these will be applied to the launch of Gran Turismo 7, for the “Test Season”, an online competition that will begin when the game launches on PS5 and PS4. The transferable liveries instead will be all those created after 22 December 2017 and set as “open to all”.
You can read all the details and limits of the data transfer functionality from Gran Turimo Sport in the seventh chapter in the article available at this address.
Today was a day with interesting news for fans of the series. In fact, Gran Turismo Sophy was also announced, the new super advanced AI capable of competing with the best drivers in the world, and the milestone of 14 million players recorded by GT Sport more than four years after its launch.
