How would it turn Hogwarts Legacy on PS1? Let’s find out in demake trailer for the first PlayStation made by content creator Jackarte on the occasion of the launch of the Avalanche Software title.
The video faithfully reproduces the Hogwarts Legacy trailer “Sebastian Sallow’s Dark Legacy” released in August last year, re-imagining the game as if it came out on PS1. So say goodbye to high-quality textures, graphic frills like ray tracing and ultra-detailed faces and say hello to boxy polygonal models, stark locations and woody animations.
The work done by Jackarte is really well made, as you can see for yourself by comparing the demake with the original trailer. Too bad it’s not a fully functional real game, but rather a simple illustrative demo.
Hogwarts Legacy is now available worldwide for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The PS4 and Xbox One versions will follow on April 4th and the Nintendo Switch version on July 25th. If you haven’t read it yet, here is our review of the Avalanche Software RPG.
