Launched a few weeks after the controversial Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires (review), Touken Ranbu Warriors seems to have rekindled the enthusiasm of the many fans of the Musou genre in Japan, also thanks to the fact of being available for the moment only on Nintendo Switch.
As mentioned, Horizon Forbidden West (review) did not make it to exceed the third position in the standings, also surpassed by Pokémon Legends: Arceus, currently second. Another new entry is The King of Fighters XV, which debuts in eighth place.

As for the hardware ranking, the situation appears more or less unchanged: Nintendo Switch OLED model dominates the top 10 with almost double the units of the standard version, which is however closely followed by PS5.
After last week’s near-par sales, the Xbox Series X | S is back down but the reception is certainly better than the previous Microsoft platforms.
