LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the protagonist of a new video that shows us the behind the scenes development of the new game from TT Games for PC and consoles coming in April.
In the video, the developers tell us about the making of what is called “the most ambitious LEGO video game ever made”. In particular TT Games talks about the challenges of making a game that includes all Star Wars moviesfrom Episode I: The Phantom Menace to Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker, retracing its history with the classic ironic vein that distinguishes TT Games works and offering players hundreds of playable characters to interpret.
The developers also make sneak peeks of the Easter egg that will be found in the game, such as Pew Pew mode which replaces all weapon sound effects with vocal imitations of blasters, lightsabers and more.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be available for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC starting from April 5, 2022. If you haven’t seen it yet, here’s the gameplay trailer shown a few weeks ago. Pre-orders are now open and players who pre-order digitally will receive early access to the “Trooper” Character Pack on launch day. Buyers of the digital version of the game can also unlock the classic playable Obi-Wan Kenobi character, which is not available for purchase individually. The physical version of the Deluxe Edition will also include an exclusive LEGO Star Wars minifigure: Luke Skywalker with blue milk.
