In addition to the news related to Dragon Age 4, the general manager of BiowareGary McKay, spoke about the next installment in the series Mass Effectwith a team of veterans and new recruits who are making the first prototypes of the game.
As previously reported, in the post McKay revealed that Dragon Age 4 is halfway through production and revealed the changes made within the team. It will take a long time before we venture into Thedas again, and the wait will likely be even longer for the next Mass Effect, as the development team led by Mike Gamble is still prototyping the game at the moment.
“Of course we are also working on the next Mass Effect. The team, led by Mike Gamble, is made up of veteran developers as well as some very talented new people,” says McKay. “They are all actively prototyping new ideas and experiences. Next generation AAA games demand a lot of time to be realized and we know that our fans would like to see them as soon as possible. But our number one priority has to be quality and simply to make it right. ”
In a status update shared in January, McKay talked about Bioware’s ambitious plans for the future and how the studio wants to “rebuild its reputation” following the failures of Anthem and Mass Effect Andromeda.
