At the Future Games Show of the Gamescom 2022 of August 25, 2022 was shown Off the Grid, a battle royale from director Neill Blomkamp’s team. Here is the cinematic trailer that shows the narrative component. The game will arrive on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2023.
Off the Grid is a battle royale for 150 players with PvP multiplayer, skirmishes and even PvE mechanics. There will also be an atypical focus on the plot and narrative component. The story and characters will be hard-boiled.
Off the Grid does not lack a crafting and customization system, with the possibility of trading items with other users. The game is by a team created by Neil Blomkamp (director of District 9, Elysium, Chappie).
