OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G was officially presented with the technical featuresdesign details, date of exit and the price sales in Italy: the smartphone will be available from March 10 (with preorder from March 3) starting from € 359 in the version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
After the announcement of the colors of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G, all the information on the device arrives, equipped with a more powerful processor, a 90 Hz AMOLED display, improved cameras, a fast charging system and support for 5G technology.

Powering OnePlus Nord CE 2 is the MediaTek Dimensity 900 octa-core chipset, with a 6 nm architecture and ready for 5G and Wi-Fi 6 network speeds. The design of the MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor has been optimized with a view to energy efficiency, to ensure better thermal control, system stability and long gaming sessions.
On the front of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 we find a 6.43-inch FHD + fluid AMOLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate that makes every visual experience – from scrolling social feeds to gaming – smoother, faster and more responsive. In addition, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 display is HDR10 + certified, which guarantees richer and deeper colors on supported platforms such as Netflix, YouTube and Amazon Prime Video.
Smart cameras
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 boasts a 64MP triple rear camera, consisting of a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro lens. The 64MP main camera captures images with high levels of detail and punchy colors, even in low-light environments thanks to its f / 1.7 aperture.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2’s camera hardware also combines with powerful AI Nightscape software and an improved Portrait mode with which you can capture clear, easy-to-share shots with just a tap.
Nightscape is in fact supported on OnePlus Nord CE 2 and is perfect for capturing photos in low light conditions. In an instant, Nightscape shoots up to nine different images at different exposures and intelligently combines them to generate sharper, brighter and more intense photos.
On OnePlus Nord CE 2 the Portrait mode has been improved with more precise line detection and, to offer more creative control over photography, we have the ability to adjust the level of depth of field that the software suggests to us at the time of shooting. Portrait mode is supported by both 64MP rear camera and 16MP selfie camera.
Video recording on the OnePlus Nord CE 2 has been perfected with improved AI-managed background lighting and color enhancement that improves video quality when shooting in low-light conditions, especially in hostile environments with lighting not uniform.
This feature uses dedicated recording algorithms that ensure better uniformity in shooting. Furthermore, with OnePlus Nord CE 2 we can record with both cameras – front and rear – simultaneously thanks to Dual-View Video, thus having access to a series of new creative opportunities.
A slim and beautiful design
OnePlus Nord CE 2 will be available in Gray Mirror and Bahama Blue colors: the first has a mirror finish with a flashy and shimmering character, while the second has a smooth and graduated finish that enchants with color transitions from blue to yellow.
At just 7.8mm thick, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 is even thinner than the original OnePlus Nord CE and is the thinnest smartphone manufactured by OnePlus after the OnePlus 6T.
The 3.5mm headphone jack also returns to the OnePlus Nord CE 2, giving us the ability to plug in our wired headphones and start listening to our favorite tunes without difficulty. In addition, OnePlus Nord CE 2 has 2 SIM card slots and a microSD slot, with which we can expand the device memory up to 1 TB.
Signed software
OnePlus Nord CE 2 comes pre-installed with the more optimized version of the OxygenOS 11, enriched with an improved dark mode, new features for one-handed use and more.
OxygenOS 12 will be available for the device in the second half of 2022. In total, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 will receive 2 years of Android version updates and 3 years of Android security patches.
