During the Ubisoft Forward, the publisher also presented again Rainbow Six Mobilewhich as the title says is a new chapter in the tactical shooter series entirely built for mobile platforms and for multiplayer gaming, of course, which is about to receive a beta.
After being announced some time ago, the limited-numbered alpha has already taken place in recent months and received positive feedback, with development making great progress in the meantime and taking the game to the new stage. Rainbow Six Mobile will now have a closed number beta test phase which will start practically next week, or on September 12, 2022with open registrations on the App Store and Google Play.
The idea is to stage a real Rainbow Six as a traditional experience of the series, but built to work best on mobile platforms. Based on what is shown in the trailer, it seems to really be one tactical first person shooter along the same lines as those seen on PC and consoles, but with obvious changes applied to the interface and usability so that it can be best enjoyed on smartphones and tablets.
The mechanics are clearly derived from Rainbow Six Siege, a game that has had a huge success all over the world, but modified and perfected to work on mobile platforms and in particular with various advanced features for multiplayer, such as building persistent teams, clubs , matchmaking and voice chat.
To apply to take part in the Rainbow Six Mobile beta which will start on Monday 12 September, you can pre-register on the App Store and Google Play, available these days.
