So it will be about the first time that Resident Evil Village will be playable in the VR version, moreover with PlayStation VR 2 which has not yet been released on the market, therefore an absolute preview of this version on hardware still distributed only to developers. It will therefore be a very interesting presentation, also because it is an initial test bench for the new potential of the Sony viewer.
On the other hand, the link between Resident Evil and PlayStation VR is solid: Resident Evil 7 was in fact the first big third party game to exploit PlayStation VR and demonstrate the potential of the headset, so it makes sense that Resident Evil Village should take that place regarding PlayStation VR 2. We remind that the Tokyo Game Show 2022 will be held from 15 to 18 September 2022.
Remaining on the subject, in light of the PS5 price increase announced this morning, however, it will be interesting to see at what price PlayStation VR 2 will be sold. New communications from Sony should arrive shortly, considering that in the meantime the release period of the new device.
