Riot Gamesthe League of Legends studio, Valorant and now many other hugely successful titles, has announced a change of logowhich however does not alter the basic philosophy of the firm: “We are pleased to inform you that starting today we will be updating the Riot Games logo appearance for all products and platforms. To follow, in the course of 2022 we will introduce a new design implant of the Riot Games brand in all of our products. These graphical updates do not alter our mission, which remains to be the most player-oriented video game company in the world and to improve the player experience.“
So the new Riot Games logo is live from today, to everyone’s delight. But what reasons led to this change? The official press release will help us understand this: “With Riot entering its second decade of life, it seemed like the right time to update and expand Riot Games’ visual rig to prepare for the successes that await us in the future. The logo change is the result of work to build a more uniform visual layout, with the creation of unique new assets (such as typesetting), which will help players recognize our brand more easily wherever we go. While we made the logo a little more modern, we wanted to retain the original spirit of the punch and clearly convey that GAMES will remain the beating heart of Riot Games.“
What to add? The important thing is that the logo was not bought from Adobe Stock for $ 80. Indeed, in this case, it appears to be more elaborate and effective.
