Call of Duty: Vanguard will finally receive the ranked multiplayer in the coming weeks, with a beta launch date close to the arrival of the Season 2which will precede the release to the public of the option in question for multiplayer.
Activision announced that the beta of the ranked multiplayer will start on February 17, 2022or three days before the arrival of Season 2 of the game and will bring with it several interesting news.
Among these we find the competitive 4v4 CDL Hardpoint, CDL Search & Destroy and CDL Control, using the same weapons, settings and maps used by the official Call of Duty League.
Following the League rules, some weapons, accessories, equipment, and Killstreaks are limited or eliminated, as are shotguns or LMGs. Anything that can be used in ranked multiplayer is available to everyone to ensure equal means for players, regardless of the state of their progression in multiplayer.
News regarding the Call of Duty Vanguard Ranked Play are the seasonal skill ratings, Divisions and Tiers. Each season, players compete in five Skill Rating Matches to earn a rating based on these skills and place within the various divisions. Based on grading, you can progress through divisions, starting with your initial grading and progressing based on your performance in ranked games.
There division and skill level will be visible to all other players, but this data is reset at the end of each season. There will be exclusive rewards and achievements to unlock in Ranked Multiplayer matches, which can be used in Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone. Every five levels in ranked you get an Emblem and a Calling Card, but if you reach the maximum rank of 50 we can get an exclusive Skin “Rande Royalty”.
At the end of each season, players can earn animated emblems celebrating their rank in Skill Division for the season. Ladder Events will also be offered frequently and regularly to speed up progression between levels.
