Pre-order is available today but the Sega Mega Drive Mini 2 is scheduled for release in October 27, 2022, so there is still some time before we can get our hands on it. However, if you are interested in purchasing, it may be advisable to proceed with the reservation immediately, because the new Sega mini-console should be distributed in very limited quantities.
The company had previously reported that the Sega Mega Drive Mini 2 project was born as dedicated exclusively to the Japanese market and only later was it extended to the West as well.
However, the units produced are very few, practically a fraction of those that were created for the first Sega Mega Drive Mini, so it could be difficult to find it available for purchase after the launch period.
