A Florida man tried to Rob a bank wearing a mask of Sonic the Hedgehog. The information was shared by the West Volusia Beacon.
It is explained that the suspect was wearing a Sonic mask, wielding a hammer and tried to extort money from the Florida Credit Union cashiers in DeLand, Florida. It all happened on February 2, 2022. The police were called to the scene and the man fled without being able to get the desired loot.
Fortunately, no one was injured during the attempted robbery and the bank was not damaged either. Brian Leatherman – bank manager – said: “Everyone is safe, nothing has been stolen and the local police are working on it.” The man disguised as Sonic escaped on foot and, despite being chased by the police and by Air One (a helicopter that deals with supporting emergency situations), he was not captured and is still on the loose.
Apparently this Sonic was the fastest of all. The police have asked anyone with information on the matter to come forward.
Speaking of thefts, did you know that a Youtuber stole $ 500,000 from fans with a scam, bought a Tesla, and blamed whoever fell for it?
