Sony And Niantic announced the start of a collaboration for the creation of a system AR audio, i.e. in augmented reality. For those unfamiliar with it, Niantic is the company of Pokémon GO, the most successful AR game on the market. The goal of this collaboration is to provide people with an unprecedented AR experience.

Ingress, Niantic’s popular sci-fi game for Android and iOS, will be involved in this first phase of the initiative, with the aim of involving users in an even more impactful and engaging AR and sound experience. More details will then be revealed later in the year.
