Sega and Atlus confirm the exit date worldwide for Soul Hackers 2which will therefore arrive on August 26 in Europe on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S, with the presence of Italian language regarding full subtitles and on-screen text.
The game comes from the creators of the acclaimed series Shin Megami Tensei, Catherine and Persona and it is a new and particular Japanese RPG that connects to the first chapter originally released in 1997 on Sega Saturn and later on Nintendo 3DS.
A new thing that emerged with the official press release is the confirmation of the presence of Italian among the languages as regards subtitles and texts, which in a game of this kind have great relevance.
According to what has been reported, Soul Hackers 2 will therefore have speech in English or Japanese and subtitles in Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Produced and directed by Eiji Ishida and Mitsuru Hirata, with music composed by MONACA, Soul Hackers 2 relies on character design by Shirow Miwa, while Shinjiro Takata is the production manager of the project.
There history takes us to the mid-21st century, in the near future, in the midst of a period of war between “Demon Summoners”, or summoners of demons. Foreseeing an impending apocalypse, Aion sends Ringo and Figue to Earth, a team tasked with deciphering fate and saving the world from the apocalypse.
Just this morning we had seen the presentation trailer of Soul Hackers 2, whose approach path was marked by an announcement by Atlus that aimed precisely at the return of the historic series on the modern scene. New images have been added to the gallery above.
