Some Japanese Vtubers sent del porn in live streams using a very complex system. In fact they used the chroma key of the OBS streaming program on Splatoon 3replacing the opponents’ colors with JAV (Japanese Adult Video) porn videos.
The result was an epic spray race of all opponents, to try and avoid getting banned by covering up banned images. Why did they do it? Probably to get some notoriety, or because they saw an inseparable link between porn and Splatoon 3. Surely it was a feat that will go down in the annals of the internet… but maybe not. We imagine that Nintendo will not be very happy with this, given how much it works to clean up its titles from certain contents.
Splatoon 3 is the latest incarnation of the online shooter series where players battle it out with paint blasts. Famous all over the world, the game is crashing especially in Japan, where it is selling millions of copies to an audience that is proving to be particularly passionate, as demonstrated by a case like this.
