Splatoon 3 hasn’t come out on Nintendo Switch yet, but Nintendo is already starting to ban players who use cheatseven just on the version demos of the game, based on what has been detected in recent days.
In fact, the Splatoon 3 event was held on 27 and 28 August: Splatfest World Premiere, or a sort of demo that allowed access to a preview of a trial version of the new shooter for Nintendo Switch. Some players have used a patch created by users which allowed you to skip certain parts of this demo and reach the central game content faster, immediately arriving at the testing range of Splatoon 3.
The mod worked fine, but apparently the anti-cheat system: This was active during the trial version, which resulted in various consoles banning users who used this sort of irregular method to use the demo.
At this point it is a question of understanding what type of ban the players have stumbled upon and what the duration is: the use of software that is not officially recognized is clearly sanctioned by Nintendo, but the damage in this case does not seem excessive, therefore it is possible that the “penalty” is lighter, but we await information from Nintendo on the matter.
In the meantime, we remind you that Splatoon 3 has the release date set for September 9, 2022.
