As we reported, Star Wars Jedi Battle Scars and The Art of Star Wars Jedi Survivor are two new upcoming books dedicated to Cal Kestis. The first is a novel and will be released in March 2023. According to Jeff Grubb, the new game will be available with the book.
As you can see, Jeff Grubb writes: “The book that takes place between Fallen Order and Survivor is coming in March [2023]”. In a second tweet he adds that the game will also arrive at the same time, obviously referring to Star Wars Jedi Survivor.
Star Wars Jedi Battle Scars is a novel set, as mentioned, between Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi Survivor. The time span between the two games is five years, so there is plenty of room for one or even more adventures. We know that the novel will follow the story of Cal Kestis and the crew of the Mantis. Without more information we can’t know if the book’s story will matter to Survivor, but we don’t think that will be the case. It will probably just be an addition to the immense canon Star Wars lore and narrative.
Obviously what Grubb indicated is only a rumoruntil proven otherwise. The Disney & Marvel Games Showcase is coming (here the dates and details): it is likely that we will discover something new on this occasion.
