Today it was finally announced Street Fighter 6, new chapter in the Capcom fighting saga. Immediately after the reveal, we had the opportunity to discover via Twitter some information on the developers who are dedicated to the saga. In the team of the Osaka company are also present developers who worked on Bayonetta and Mega Man. Specifically, let’s talk about Yusuke Hashimoto and Kazuhiro Tsuchiya.
Yusuke Hashimoto he was part of Capcom and worked on series such as Resident Evil and the God Hand game. He then moved on to PlatinumGames where he worked as producer of Bayonetta 1, director and character designer of Bayonetta 2 and as director of Star Fox Zero. He then left PlatinumGames in January 2019. Now, he works on Street Fighter 6 as a “planner”.
Kazuhiro Tsuchiyaknown as the producer of the Mega Man series, has also announced that he is working on Street Fighter 6, although for the moment he has not specified his role within the team.
Capcom is therefore hiring industry experts to work on Street Fighter 6. For the moment we don’t know exactly which direction the game will take. The first announcement is just a teaser, so we’ll have to wait for new information to figure out what kind of video game it will be.
