During the Gamescom 2022 Future Games Show, Nightdive Studios presented a new trailer for the remake of System Shock, currently in development for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and Xbox One, which you can view in the player above. Unfortunately, the release date was not announced on this occasion either.
The movie, accompanied by the robotic and disturbing voice of SHODAN, the AI that represents the main antagonist of the game, shows unpublished gameplay sequences, including action, horror, neon lights and fierce enemies.
System Shock is a remake of the unforgettable first-person action adventure from 1994, which in this remake will boast a graphics sector rebuilt from scratch and in high definition, as well as a completely revised interface and new sounds and music.
Although it does not yet have an official release date, the development of the System Shock remake should be in an advanced stage, according to Warren Spector’s statements during the PC Gaming Show a few months ago, where he presented another trailer for the occasion of the game.
