Tencent acquires Inflexion Games, the authors of Nightingale

Tencent announced the acquisition of Inflexion Gamesthe studio to work on Nightingale, from Improbable, a British technology company specializing in online metaverses and infrastructures. The latter has sold all its shares to the Chinese giant, although at the moment the details of the agreement have not been publicly disclosed.

The acquisition by Tencent should not lead to particular upheavals, with Aaryn Flynn, the CEO of Inflexion Games, who will continue to remain at the head of the studio, directing work on Nightingale, a cooperative survival fantasy game announced at The Game Awards. 2021 and out in early access on PC at the end of 2022, released by the Level Infinite label.
