Nikolaj Coster-Waldauthe actor known to the general public for playing the role of Jaime Lannister in Game of Thrones, is virtually identical to Joel Of The Last of Us in the movie Without Voice.
This was pointed out by a user on the ResetEra forum and sparked a series of discussions about the fact that in reality, at least on the physical level, the choice of Pedro Pascal for the TV series of The Last of Us did not fully convincerather.
The Mandalorian protagonist, whose filming for Season 3 has been postponed due to Omicron, is certainly a great performer but in terms of the similarity Coster-Waldau seems very apt, seeing is believing:
Interestingly, Joel’s character is actually inspired by Viggo Mortensen in the movie The Roada film that generally provided Naughty Dog with several ideas for the making of The Last of Us.
Anyway, to see how Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey fare in the television series we’ll have to wait until next year: The Last of Us won’t air in 2022.
