The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinner Chapter 2 Retribution was one of the protagonists of today’s Meta Connect gaming segment, where a new trailer and announced the release date. Mark the date: the new Skydance game for Meta Quest 2 will be available from December 1, 2022.
The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution is one virtual reality shooter set in the world of The Walking Dead. The game is also currently in development for PlayStation VR2, the PS5 virtual reality headset.
The game is basically a sequel to The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners, which therefore continues the story started with the previous chapter and re-proposing the basic gameplay structure, suitably expanded and improved. We are therefore talking about a first-person action shooter built specifically for virtual reality, in which we will have to face hordes of walking undead through the streets of New Orleans and the threat posed by “Axeman” who will hunt us down during the adventure.
“Your return journey will be more perilous than ever. Fight, infiltrate and fight your way through a city that has already been targeted numerous times. Resources will be scarce, but it will be necessary to use what you can to fend off not only the omnipresent walkers, but also the unstoppable Axeman who will hunt you down.”reads the synopsis.
