On the occasion of the segment dedicated to the celebrations of the fifteen years of Assassin’s Creed and the future of the series, Ubisoft has revealed that among the various projects in the pipeline there is also that of creating an experience completely focused on online multiplayer.

This was revealed by Marc-Alexis Côté, the creative director of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and producer of Odyssey, who explained that the Ubisoft Montreal team is thinking about how “to bring standalone multiplayer experiences back to the Assassin’s Creed universe” which will be connected to what is called “Infinity Hub“.

We are talking about what is commonly known as Assassin’s Creed Infinity, which in fact will not be a single game, but rather a platform that will host all future iterations of the series, including Assassin’s Creed: Codename Red and Codename Hexe, which were also presented this evening during the event.

Côté has unfortunately not added further more details on the Assassin’s Creed multiplayer project, so we just have to wait for more information in the future.

Tonight Ubisoft has unveiled many projects related to its flagship brand. Among the major innovations we point out Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the new chapter set in Baghdad, the expansion Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Last Chapter and Codename Jade, the first game of the open world series created specifically for mobile devices.
