The players of Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel they are playingXYZ event recently made it available and have realized that there is a way to get lots of rewards easily. Just lose. Luckily Konami noticed this and decided to change some details to encourage victory.
Let’s take a step back. The XYZ event by Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel gives rewards to players even in the event of a defeat. Obviously, winning results in better rewards, but the most efficient strategy is not (or was, as we’ll see shortly) trying to win, but deliberately losing as quickly as possible. The victory guaranteed 100/50 medals (depending on the type of deck), while the defeat 50/25 medals. Understand that two losses are often quicker to achieve than one victory.
Specifically, the players were creating gods bouquets that included cards that do damage to the owner’s Life Points: in this way, the Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel defeats himself and can immediately start a new match.
Konami, as mentioned, however, he listened to the feedback of the players annoyed by these tactics and therefore decided to significantly increase the medals obtained from the victory, so as to push the players to aim for the latter. We are talking about 500/250 medals, which is 5 times more than before. The medals for the defeat, however, have not decreased, so it is possible that some players still decide to always abuse the old tactic.
Finally, here is our review.
